Smith Josaphat is a Motivational Speaker, is a Florida Licensed Real Estate Broker and a Licensed Loan Officer. Owner of Freedom Investors Realty and Kingdom Lending Group, he has been helping families to invest in Real Estate since 2001. As a Real Estate Investor himself, he has used the power of OPM (Other People’s Money) to build wealth in Real Estate. He teaches people how to leverage credit to build wealth in Real Estate. He has mentored over 100 Successful Real Estate Agents and Loan Officers throughout his career.
Peter Palmer
Real Estate Investor
Peter Palmer has been active in the real estate arena since 1999, and held an active Real Estate Agent license since 2003. Peter is currently with Keller Williams Commercial Realty. Peter has been an active real estate investor since 1999, and understands both sides of the deal. Peter is an experienced agent in Commercial Real Estate and Income properties, specializing in 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges, and buying income real estate with your Self-Directed IRA Accounts. He is a motivational speaker and real estate investment coach nationwide, a realtor specializing in income properties, 1031 tax exchanges, and self-directed IRA investing; a financier of deals (both real estate and business), he currently buys and sells real estate and is routinely invited to speak about investment strategies to groups around the country. Peter has a long sales award winning history and background working for some of the largest Fortune 500 companies; including writing millions of dollars worth of loans and mortgages, as a Lender, for Bank of America, and further worked in outside Direct Sales to High Net Worth clients for Bell South Mobility. Peter has worked as a Top Production real estate agent for several of the largest national real estate brokerage companies. Peter works closely with investors to help maximize their returns on income properties and to mitigate risk as much as possible. Peter is a certified “Real Estate Geek” and strives to be your real estate resource.
Marty Kiar
Broward County Property Appraiser
Martin “Marty” Kiar is a lifelong Broward County resident. Having been born and educated in Broward County, his roots run deep in this community. After completing high school, Marty earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University with his Juris Doctorate. His path to public service began when he was appointed to the Town of Davie School Advisory Board, Town of Davie Airport Advisory Board and the Broward County Housing and Finance Authority. Marty went on to serve as the Assistant Town Attorney and Assistant Municipal Prosecutor for the Town of Davie.
In 2006, Marty was elected to serve in the Florida House of Representatives. He was re-elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2008 and in 2010. In 2012, Marty was elected to the Broward County Commission representing District 1. Marty served two years as a Commissioner, one year as Vice Mayor and then Mayor. In 2016, Marty was elected to be the Broward County Property Appraiser and took office as the Broward County Property Appraiser on January 3, 2017.
Marie Woodson
Florida State Representative
Marie Woodson was born in Port-de-Paix, Haiti, and lives in Hollywood, Florida. Woodson earned an A.S. in public administration from Miami-Dade College in 1984, a B.S. in criminal justice from Florida International University in 1987, and an M.S. in public administration/management from St. Thomas University in 1994. Her career experience includes working as a public administrator. Affordable and adequate housing is not available to many residents in our communities. As your State Representative, Marie Woodson continues to advocate and support the replenishing of the Sadowski Fund as opposed to depleting it.
